In Hearts Wake

In Hearts Wake have become one of the most active and talked about bands in the country this year. In February, In Hearts Wake revealed details of secret third album Skydancer, which was recorded in the same sessions as 2014′s award winning Earthwalker. A successful campaign followed the announcement, with first single Breakaway being added to triple j instantly. An April Fools joke followed with a tongue in cheek video filmed at Unify, and then their very own video game. In Hearts Wake have have graced the cover of Blunt Magazine, were featured on Prime 7 News and landed the feature album spot on triple j.

Make Them Suffer

Hailing from the most remote capital city on the planet, Perth sextet Make Them Suffer have been honing their razor sharp blend of frostbitten black metal, fiery hardcore and gothic misery since 2008. Partnering with global heavy metal powerhouse Roadrunner Records for 2012’s critically acclaimed debut, Neverbloom, the band hit the road with the likes of Northlane, Bleeding Through, Job For A Cowboy and Thy Art Is Murder to spread the nightmare throughout Australia, Europe and the UK.

Sydney’s Stories are ready for a big year in 2015 – they have just completed recording their debut album, and will soon hit the road with UK’s Architects. With their EP Void behind them, along with single ‘Dreamwork,’ Stories are ready to impress with their unique heavy and dark sound.

Ocean Grove

Ocean Grove emerged onto the Melbourne scene in late 2010 and ever since has developed into a pioneering act of the heavy music scene in Australia. Since the release of their first EP ‘Outsider’ in 2013 the band has been progressively engaging new audiences and establishing a highly esteemed name for their evolving sound and erratic live performance. Since the release of their new singles in ‘The Dead Years’ & ‘Backbone’, showcasing the prospect of this outfits exciting new direction, Ocean Grove has earned a broad stretch of interest across Australia and internationally, having toured the country multiple times alongside bands such as Volumes (USA), Buried In Verona and Fit For A King (USA). Expect a new record release in early 2015, from a band that is not holding back when it comes to pushing the boundaries.
